{ JADE WINDERS } Jade Winders, referred to as "Jadie" by close friends who knew her from her toddler years. 18 years of age [ if used in other rps maybe like 17-20 ] Born in the US, her family originates from the Philippines and Puerto Rico [ 50/50 ] Female, she/her/hers Aroace questioning, Biromatic, male lean, demisexual. Jade's Appearance --- Jade is a tall, slender girl standing at about 5'10", her height is something she takes great pride in. Her curves are somewhat defined but the thing that really makes them seem that way is her smaller waist. She has raven-black hair that can be perceived as a dark, navy blue in certain lighting. Her hair has very neat bangs resting on her forehead, resting just above the part of her nose closest to her eyebrows, some could argue the glabella area. Her hair is extremely thick in texture, flowing down to mid-spine. Her eyebrows are dark yet thin, not anything too crazy but still definitely on the thinner side. As for her eyes, they're a dark shade of blue that gets lighter around the pupil, having a natural set of full lashes on them. Her lips are plump, full and naturally round although they lack pigment and easily get chapped, so she always carries around chapstick and some sort of lip tint or lip oil. Has her ears pierced along with her industrial piercing. Has a small, subtle belly button piercing. Right below her neck is a tattoo [ see image for reference, i know its a necklace but idc im saying its a tattoo ], the first one she had done herself. On her left wrist is a small pair of angel wings, a light blue tattoo with a white halo above them. has a tattoo around her hip, circling around to her back, a line of little stars and sparkles with her name printed in between the line, her name being on her right side of her hip. Her skin is usually clear but she can be seen occasionally with a few yellow or blue star pimple patches around her face. Her nails are grown out and can often be seen painted some sort of color and filed to be extremely sharp or coffin-shaped. Has an older tattoo she did on herself when she was still in highschool, likely freshman year. Its a star of numbers and letters in different colors, 1-9 and A-Z forming the star and inside of it, from far away it just looks like a colorful star. Jade's Attire ---- Jade can usually be seen wearing different forms of tank tops. Cami tops, regular tank tops, tank tops with spaghetti straps, and maybe some tube tops. Likes to accessorize with fingerless gloves going to her elbows. Likes to wear a lot of jeans and leggings, flared and low waisted. If she's not wearing jeans or leggings she's wearing some sort of denim skirt. Usually wears converse, maybe platformed maybe not. Likes to layer necklaces and wears primarily silver jewelry. For the event she will likely be wearing a navy blue, almost black dress to compliment her hair, flowing down to just above her knees--- think of a SKIMS dress, hugging her curves and such. With this, some matching fingerless gloves that lead up to her elbows, and some black platformed converse. Jade's Personality ---- Jade is an extremely quiet girl, even with her friends. She doesn't speak much unless she really has something to say or unless someone has a question for her. Most wonder if she's easily annoyed and thats why she doesn't speak much. And that would be correct. She has a short attention span and often gets bored of things easily, and once she gets bored she gets irritated and annoyed. Jade is incredibly creative and is more of an artsy person. She's quite intelligent, having graduated with a 4.3 GPA from her highschool. She matured faster than the others kids due to her genes and also matured mentally faster. She's extremely self aware and tends to over-analyze things that she does before and after she does it. She can be a bit snarky and snappy towards others, one of her most defining personality traits is her sarcasm. She's close with pretty much all of the group but one person specifically [ to be decided ] due to being close childhood friends with them. Has a variety of mental issues. A tamer form of anxiety and grapheme–color synesthesia, where she's able to see the numbers and letters that she hears in front of her, she associates them with different colors. She may say something odd to others such as "your name sounds like ___" but it would make sense once you know she has synesthesia. Her ability to literally visualize numbers in front of her helped out tremendously with her math-based classes during highschool. A lot of people were hoping she would seek greater education to later become something great. A mathematician, an economist, a researcher-- something. But no, she wanted to be something different entirely, a tattoo artist. Was definitely bullied during her childhood up to her sophomore year where she ultimately moved schools.
Has a lot of social anxiety and genuinely resents anyone who tries to spark a conversation with her-- somewhat rude towards people she doesn't know. She doesn't care to meet new people and such. Sucks at communication and confrontation. Her love language is gift giving. Apologizes with gifts an little notes, sometimes even just shows up with gift baskets just because she saw something that reminded her of them and didn't just want to give /one/ silly little gift..!! Lacks social awareness tbh. Knows a bit of Tagalog but isn't really fluent in any language aside from English sadly. Jade's Backstory --- Jade grew up in an overall healthy environment. Until people, including her family and herself, began to find out that she had a form of synesthesia. Her mother freaked out. Insisted she was a normal child, swore up and down that her daughter wasn't like this and that she was completely fine. Her mother called her a monster, and tried to "fix her," desperately going to every doctor despite being told it was something she was born with that couldn't be rid of. Her father began neglecting her, stating that she was demonic and a disgrace to their family. She began letting their words get to her, now agreeing with them. Maybe she was a monster. The other kids around her school began calling her one, too. That sparked her social anxiety and her quietness. She found happiness and peace within her teachers who sympathized with her and believed in her, knew she could be something amazing. She always tended to get along better with older people who knew better than to look down on her, people with open minds. The death of her younger brother really changed her, though. Only about two years younger than her she was 14 when he died, sadly. The two were close and he was one of the few people who thought that her synesthesia was cool. He saw it as a superpower and she thought it was cute. She still gets emotional when she see's young kids, always reminding her of her brother. She had to move schools during sophomore year because of a fight that broke out between her and another kid. She had been making fun of her and she literally lashed out, literally knocking the girl unconscious after a few punches. She met the group at that new school. Death would likely be something dealing with a tattoo accident. Maybe she was giving herself a new one and the ink was extremely expired, even though she had just bought it oddly enough. She would be in the middle of doing the tattoo on herself before it would start to burn. Although maybe it was more than expired, maybe she had made an amateur mistake of digging so deep it got within her veins, coursing through it. It was odd, how it overflowed through her veins and throughout her body. Unnatural. Odd. Eventually popping the veins while seeping through her eyes. Yikes.
