"Hey Icefur, are you feeling better now?" Stormclaw asked softly, his voice carrying a hint of concern. "I’m fine now. I think I can now get out from the medicine den. And Stormclaw…thank you so much for taking care of me the whole time. I'm...I'm so happy," Icefur meowed with a grateful smile, opening her eyes to look at him. "Do you want to go outside? Even if it's dark," he suggested with a playful glint in his eye. She felt a rush of excitement and immediately agreed, sitting up and stretching her legs before following him out of the den. As they stepped out, the cold night air hit them with a shiver. They could see the stars twinkling in the sky above, and the moon casting a silver glow over the camp. "Should we go to the cliff we talked about last time?" Stormclaw suggested, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Y-yes!!!" Icefur replied eagerly, her heart beating faster as she followed him through the camp. They walked together to the cliff, their paws crunching on the frost-covered grass. They sat down side by side, looking out into the darkness beyond. The silence between them was comfortable, but Stormclaw soon broke it. "Remember the last time we talked here?" he began, his voice low and gentle. "Um...yes," Icefur replied shyly, her cheeks flushing. "It's pretty romantic, huh?" Stormclaw continued a mischievous glint in his eye. "You recovered from sickness and we sit together alone on this beautiful night." Icefur became speechless, trying to act as normal as she could, but her heart raced with excitement. "Huh? Don't be shy. It's true though," he giggled, his eyes fixed on hers. “Um…” Icefur didn’t know what to say, being confused. “It’s okay. Anyways, do you want to go back to the camp?” Stormclaw asked her, changing the subject. I need to be honest and tell the truth, she thought. “…Can I say this to you…?” “Okay?” Stormclaw agreed with curiosity. “I…I…I want to be mates with you…since the time you saved me from the pack of foxes, I couldn’t stop thinking about you…please be honest and answer…” Icefur asked him with a nervous tone. He spoke nothing for a heartbeat, but he answered. "Wow...I'm speechless. I had no idea you felt that way about me, Icefur," Stormclaw replied, his eyes widening in surprise. "But you know what? I feel the same way about you. Ever since I saw you in that battle against the foxes, I couldn't stop thinking about you either. I was just too afraid to say anything." Icefur's heart soared with joy at his words. "So, does that mean...?" she trailed off, hoping he would finish the sentence. "It means yes, Icefur. I would love to be mates with you," Stormclaw said with a warm smile. They nuzzled each other affectionately, feeling happy and content. As they walked back to the camp, their tails intertwined, they knew that they had found something special in each other.
