Hello! This is the application form to become a team member of MINDSCAPES. This includes artists, animators, voice actors, and more! Go inside to project, then join the server and fill out the form there. Examples of works are optional, though highly recommended. -FAQ- Q: What is MINDSCAPES? A: MINDSCAPES is a cartoon series, created by @-sunny_sunny_s-. Q: What current state is the project in? A: Every day, we are developing ideas, making tests, and pitching our series. We are working hard to make this dream a reality! Q: What requirements are there to become a member? A: First, you must be over 12. The series itself is intended to be TV-14, or for teens. It’s not likely a 13 year old would be accepted, due to subject matter, but please feel free to apply! Second, you must have at least a year and a half of animation experience. We can’t accept beginners, because we wouldn’t want anyone who is just starting out to be overworked. From that, please don’t apply if you can’t complete your work! If you’re busy, don’t apply, we would not like to overwork you. As well as that, if you are sensitive to certain subjects, please let us know what you are uncomfortable with. If you are uncomfortable with 1 subject, then if you are accepted, you will work in a way so you can avoid feeling uncomfortable with our show. If you are sensitive to 2 or more, we will not be allowing you to work. We care more about other’s health, physical and mental, than getting our show done or working on it. Q: What is the payment? A: Financial payment is difficult for us, so we will find a way to pay you in other ways. Q: Will I get breaks? A: Of course! While we don’t want to delay our series for too long, we care about our members. If you are struggling with family problems, health issues, or loss of a friend/family member, you may take a break by notifying Sunny. And even if you just feel stressed, we will let you take a break! Please, ask us if something is wrong. Q: When is the form due by? A: The form server will close at 7:00 PM, May 1st EST. Q: What skills are required? A: Find the required skills in the pinned messages in the form channel. Q: I’m not interested in animation, art, writing, or voice acting. What should I do? A: If you know a member of a streaming service, or are one, then you can reach out to us for that! If that doesn’t work, then you could help us pitch. Anything would help! Q: What software is required? A: For voice acting, only Disc and any recording software would work. Writing, Google Docs and Disc is good. For art, Procreate, CLIP STUDIO PAINT, or Krita works. For animation, CLIP STUDIO PAINT and Toon Boom Harmony 22 is recommended, though any other software approved by team staff is allowed. For cleanup artists, any vector lineart software works.
