One week later, it was the same story. I was sitting in church when the "Thunks" started again. I stood up and walked towards the door without a word. I knew the drill. "BILLY!" I screamed. He stood next to the truck, smirking. ''Want a ride?" "No." I glared at him and scoffed. "What if I let you drive?" He suggested, and I shook my head. "I can drive any time I like, what makes you think I'd want to drive your old truck?" He just kicked some gravel. "Just once." He muttered. "Just once, I'd..." I tilted my head. He really looked heartbroken. I... "Fine." I decided, and his face lit up, as he opened the door. "AFTER church." I added, and he ruled his eyes. "You worship types start much to late, Ginny." That last part hurt a bit. Leo called me "Ginny." "Virginia." I told him. "You can call me Virginia, or Miss West." He just laughed. "Well then, Miss West, I'll see you in an hour." An unnerving hour later, I stood outside the doors, waiting for the rusty Blue truck I had expected to find waiting for me. Apparently, that was not the case. Soon, I found myself sitting on the steps, telling myself "5 minutes. I'll only wait 5 minutes." And that's the same thing I was telling myself 20 minutes later. Then 30. Then an hour. I'd been tricked. Why did I even think I could trust him? I stood up to go. [I'll keep writing soon! Stay tuned!]
