I was vibing to this music and got inspired -lore- (Warning, this covers topics of somewhat @buse?) Maddie -or Maddison- was a bright girl of about 19. One day, she was walking down the street when a handsome guy about her same age came up to her. He offered to take her out on a date, constantly complementing her and offering gifts to her. Being young and gullible, she accepted. The guy, (whose name was James) took her to a grand restaurant with performers and delicious food. After a few more dates, Maddie had fallen madly in love with James. He was the whole package, wasn’t he? Although, one day James had brought up dancing. Maddie had a passion for dancing, and always wanted to preform. James said he had an opportunity for Maddie to dance forever, and she happily accepted. He kept bringing up auditions shows every time they met, and Maddie excitedly agreed to each one of them. She did well for the first few, but eventually got tired and asked James for a break. He didn’t let her, saying that if she stopped dancing he would loose everything he had, and that he needed to pay for his sick mother. Maddie believed this, and danced every time he asked her to. This went on for a long time, and eventually Maddie had lost all passion for dancing, but James kept forcing her, guilt tripping her into dancing again. One day, James brought up a dance studio that was supposedly run by his family. Maddie denied at first, but James kept complementing her and guilt tripping her until she accepted. When she got there, she found out that James was going to be her agent. He ushered her to her “room” where she was surprised to find another girl there. Her name was Nellie, and she explained that she fell for James’ tricks just like Maddie did. Maddie kept trying to defend James, saying that he was only doing this because he needed to take care of his sick mom. Nellie eventually gave up trying to explain, and then went back to sewing her shoes (ballet ppl out there, correct me if im wrong, but u guys need to sew ur shoes, right??). A few months passed, and dancing was extremely dead to Maddie. She went to her performances with a fake smile, and danced on stage until the end, with lesser and lesser enthusiasm each show. Nellie offered to take Maddie out of this endless loop of dancing, but she denied, still madly in love with James even after all he’s done to her. Will she eventually get out of this cycle of endless dancing, or will she stay here forever? IM NOT THAT GOOD AT COMING UP W/ LORE LOL
