She looked around, mystified. She'd seen magical places, but none quite like this. There were these tall structures, decorated with small squares of light. The towering structures made her feel so small, but yet part of a bigger world than she'd thought. She brushed off her skirt, slowly making her way towards some stone ramp. Once she emerged from the shore, she was more amazed than ever. Metal carriages zoomed by on rubber wheels, blinking light adorning them. The lights, oh, so many lights! She slowly made her way towards some building with the name of 'shopping mall'. The girl pushed open the doors, only to find more wonders inside. So many stands set up, selling various things. She could feel eyes on her, staring her down, so it seemed. These humans wore such strange clothing. She'd never seen such fashion. She walked over to some corner which appeared to be a coffee shop. She opened the menu to find such strange flavors. Where was the pearl mix? The fairy flaunt? She ordered the only thing she recognized--a chocolate milkshake. -- Minutes later the waitress came, bearing her food. She spoke in such language that the girl didn't understand. When she looked up, she almost choked when she saw the waiter's face. Never would she have thought, nor her two friends back on Pyrithia imagined. She finally opened her mouth, to say one word that she thought she'd never say again.
