A silly game about scratch cats continuously dying and "evolving." Not for mobile, unless you just want to watch. (That's fun too!) Below are the controls. CONTROLS: General Controls K (kill) Kill all cats. You may need to hold this down for smaller specimens, since they reproduce much faster. R (reproduce) Make all cats reproduce. Simple as that. Effectively doubles population (+1) or may be used in an extinction event. T (time) Shows variables (on the right): Small Scratchteria (under 50), Large Scratchteria, and Paralyzed (any form). S (scratchteria) Displays several variables on the left. From the top, Current clones, deaths recorded, scratchteria production over time in seconds, and total scratchteria produced. Notice when stopped, the numbers remain on screen. Cute Cat Noises SPACE+TOUCHING A CAT Makes a cat make a... let's call it "natural" noise based on its size. Then kills the poor thing. How sad. :,( 1+TOUCHING A CAT The less lethal way of petting a cat. Makes them make a less haunting noise. 2+TOUCHING A CAT Captures their size and displays it for 2 seconds. 3 Makes a guttural noise based on size captured.
Oh... Where did the update section go? Well then... Below the guide is the updates! GUIDE This is an interesting little game about traits, and whatnot. In the game, there is only 1 trait that influences survival and reproduction, for now at least. Size! The smaller you are, the more a scratchteria can reproduce, but will have a smaller lifespan. The larger does the opposite. The color is simply put, a little changed from their parents. You may notice some scratcheria do not move. That is because they are Paralyzed. They live longer. There are two types, one where they can still spin, and one where they can't do anything at all. The one where they can't move is much more common. This is after I got a lot of comments about it being hard on the eyes. In the future I plan to add an actual Species-function, and ability to disable certain behaviors, along with a few more neat traits. And also, maybe make it so that the old and dying don't turn sickly dark as a toggleable feature. v0.1.3a: 12/20/25 - Fixed rotation rate to be more sensible (Doesn't hurt your eyes as much) - An additional buff has been added to larger cats, where if they are larger than 100 size, then they will attempt several times to reproduce. - Fixed the K button to actually reset stuff. - Added show cover!
