Hallo! ╰┈➤ I hope all of y'all are doing well, I decided it would be good if I made this project. ╰┈➤ if you haven’t noticed, I took a little break from Scratch and sort of Toyhouse as well. During that “break” not only did I developed my art style but I also developed myself and how I want to be when I’m here if all of you. ╰┈➤One big change is of course my name and image. I’ve been known as Sabrina, the purple star themed girl who does art and has too many payments. As of now my main name will be changed to Kage, you may also call me Hai or continue to call me Sabrina if you find that easier (I might create a new account with my new toyhouse username). I also redesigned my persona ref (inside the project) and made her represent more of me. Cate’s (@Scratch_EV) design for my sona was gorgeous I loved her but it wasn’t…me. - I will be very red/green themed instead of the usual purple (my favorite colors are black red and purple, I only rlly liked purple cause everyone thought I did. I do love maroon, dark red, and muted greens though <3) I will also have actual thumbnails that have these nice vine like designs. -ALSO THE EXTRA, idk how to define it, but it goes over in place of the sweater. There’s a white shirt under the sweater (as seen in art). The extra has roses in it btw. ╰┈➤ I will be dropping/canceling some/most OTA payments. I have contacted some people, a few asked to cancel since it had been a while and I am fine if you feel right to cancel it. I’m planning on continuing my payments for Cate (@Scratch_EV), Nutmeg (@Nutmegggg), and Micheal (@_Mr_Omen_) if they let me (I think Micheal is fine with it, we talked) if I owe art for you please tell me, I will most likely cancel though. ╰┈➤ I am planning on doing more coding rather than entering contests or posting art. Even so, It will take a while before I am really active on here. Taking my “break” really helped me not only with how I did things and taking away the stress of being in here but it helped my mental health since I wasn’t constantly looking for approval or trying to fit in on here which I didn’t have to. - CONTEXT: I do not think many people noticed, but I am very approval based. I will not move on nor will I stop thinking about something until the specific person responds. I would get very jealous of other people though I wouldn’t say it. There were instances where I would say something on someone’s profile and spend hours until they responded just thinking about it cause I couldn’t delete it and I felt embarrassed even though they felt fine with it. I wouldn’t leave until they responded, I even spent 5 minutes asking a friend to delete a comment and they didn’t understand why (ended up not). Which is why I would join contests and give things away cause I wanted approval and I thought seeing what people thought of my art through contest results or critiquing helped but it did not. It would boost my confidence to the point where I would create contests and stuff and no one would join which would drag me down so low. I don’t look for that type of stuff now. I felt very out of place and left out though I don’t care anymore now. ╰┈➤ Scratch is not the place you should go to in order to try to fit in. It’s a coding website, code to your hearts content or talk to friends but don’t drag yourself down or beat yourself up. Your worth something and if you spent hours on here thinking that your awful and you can’t do anything than take a break form this. Turn away. It isn’t good for you.
