So as you may know, I am leaving Scratch permanently this Summer. And, as most of you know, my home on Scratch for many years now has been the Smash Ultimate studio, which I have been a member of since around mid 2019 (I think). I am the oldest manager on the studio to still be active (on my original account, @taco1327). Since my announcement that I am leaving, several other people I would consider to be long-time pillars of the studio have announced their plans to leave within the year as well. Users like @Godsans101, @TheFinalNintendoDS, @Lag_and_Tag, and @Sekiyo have posted about leaving, and @DRDOG07 has posted an official announcement and already left. By the end of this year, it is likely that there will be very few longtime members of the studio left. As one of the aforementioned longtime users, I can safely say that the studio is nothing more than a shell of its former self. Despite this, I would like to say thanks to everyone who has ever stepped foot in the studio throughout the years. It was not only my home on Scratch, but my main home on the entire internet. Every comment thread, every project, every joke, every meme, every user created some incredible memories during some of the harder periods of my life. While it didn't make a difference in the grand scheme of things, it sure was an amazing ride while it lasted.
Thanks to @zzstar @Dec18vsTheWorld @portalmaster31 for fostering this community. though it never grew beyond a few hundred people at a time, it was an incredible ride, and I wouldn't have traded the time spent in this studio for anything. And anyone else I forgot, I kinda just went down the manager list because there were a crap ton of people who have since left that I'm sure I forgot about, it's been 5 years, cut me some slack What are you still doing here, do you think there's something else down here?
