AA THANKS FOR 300 HERES A THING QUICK RUNDOWN a DMC is basically a competition type thing where you can draw characters to enter and win prizes— the ones for this DMC are further down. RULES: - Remix this project to enter, you don’t have to apply or ask :> - You can draw more than one character if you’d like, or you could draw them interacting (relationships are in the credits below!) - All artwork should be your own, so don’t trace or AI generate stuff - Normal etiquette stuff yk be nice to others! - Design changes to suit your style or palette are completely ok but try to keep the general idea of the character Prizes **ALL PRIZES NEED TO BE BIRDS OR HUMANOID! EXTENDED CHARACTER/RELATION INFO HERE: All these characters live in the same world, though they’re paired off sorta (Phoebe and Cam are partners and Robin and Ethos are best friends). Phoebe: Cannot stress this enough they are not very morally upright. They have this habit of making very dangerous and often unethical decisions which combined with their carelessness and love of bright colors is what caused the accident that led to them being half blind. They’re also in a relationship with Cam but it’s a very “I can make him worse” kind of scenario on both ends like. They’re in love with each other but it’s not a heartwarming kind of love it’s a going to burn down your house kind of love. Not sure if that makes sense but that’s how it is. Cam: Cam is a foil to Phoebe in the sense that while Phoebe is sporadic and outwardly visibly unhinged Cam looks really put together *until* they open their mouth and then you realize wait this person is also pretty off their rocker. Cam’s pretty complicit in everything Phoebe does, but is also much better at covering her tracks. The two are dating but as stated above it’s highly destructive. Cam’s specialty is tech and carpentry, so Phoebe usually determines the what and then Cam works with the how. Ethos: OK MORE WHOLESOME NOW Ethos is a pretty ambitious guy, and he was like that since he was really young. He found some old blueprints in this abandoned warehouse somewhere that looked like archaic unfinished plane plans and he sort of made it his life goal to make one of those. He’s smart and logical and everything but he’s also sort of bad with emotions and has difficulty maintaining relationships. That isn’t to say that he doesn’t care, just that he’s easily distracted and absent minded sometimes. He especially cares about Robin, who’s his childhood best friend and number one cheerleader. Robin: Despite being big into coding and computers as a whole Robin somehow does the impossible and also knows how to interact with humans regularly. She can be a little overenthusiastic and calculating at times but as a whole she’s definitely the most likable person in this batch. She’s Ethos’ best friend and honestly the only person he can be completely honest and emotional with.
