Type : Single Ram Roped Hydraulic MR. Logic : MicroSmart PLC. Doors : Fermator. Buttons : Schaefer MT 42. Indicator : Robertson/generic ? Full speed : About 0.66 m/s. Motor : ALGI submersible pump unit. Position of motor room : At floor 1 next to the lift. Starter type : Solid state. Capacity : 10 Persons or 800 Kg or 1763.7 Lbs. Serial number : RL MCSA 00396. Voice : Unknown custom TTS voice. Location : A random undisclosed mall (Former early 80s office building) in Gloucester, UK. Other : This is the main lift at a random weird small scale and unknown/undisclosed shopping center located in Gloucester, UK. This is a basic semi-generic hydraulic lift from Robertson Lifts installed in year 2006. The building was an early 1980s office building which had originally no lift, even though this building has 5 levels in total. In 2006, they added this lift and a weird glass lift. Both lifts are from the same brand but are totally different. In 2008, the company who owns these offices goes bankrupt and the building was abandoned until 2010 when the building got renovated and turned into a small shopping center. In 2012, this shopping center opens and Robertson have fixed the 2 lifts (The abandoned building was in a really good state, so not much repair work has been done to the abandoned lifts) and they added a 3rd lift which is a very big MRL hydraulic goods lift. Anyway let’s get back to the main topic of this project which is this lift. This lift wastes quite a bit of time and when going up, the startup is rather rough ! Apart from that, this lift is not that bad & is a very good condition ! It also has some oddities such as the motor room being located a floor 1 and not at -1 (lowest floor) and the capacity plate is written in both kgs and lbs. That flashing indicator is also quite unusual and it Schaefer MT 42 buttons (Much better than Dewhurst & DMG). Also, the Fermator doors are working well despite being cheap. This is a fairly reasonable lift overall. The voice and chimes are quite a bit odd aswell. And it’s got a very audible German ALGI hydraulic unit which sounds quite similar to Leistritz/Blain/Kleemann pumps & this is maybe the 1st lift on Scratch with an ALGI pump unit ! The built quality of this lift is not so bad despite being a semi generic single ram roped hydraulic lift… The door open and door close buttons work and lit up in a rather interesting way. So, this lift is actually a fairly nice lift for a generic ! And it looks like that the mall management is a bit paranoid lol look at all those stickers ! Anyway, the description is about to end here. List of the lifts at this mall : - 2006 Robertson Main Lift : You are here. - 2012 Robertson mixed-use goods/freight lift : - Weird glass 2006 Robertson lift (mod) : BTW Robertson Lifts were created in 1995.
