improving the aes comm <3

hi there! i've been noticing a lot of things that are amazing about the aes comm, and others... not so much. im going to show some of these and how we could try to improve these and make the aes comm and everything related a better place in general! please don't hate on me or get mad abt this. these are more of the 'little things', but they are js as important. tysm and lets begin! 1. profile rating a lot of people have been asking for 'honest profile ratings' and then get offended that they got a low score. (even i have done this before, haha) if you want a actual rating on your profile, be prepared to take low ones as well. don't be offended or hold grudges against that person, and do NOT report them for this! how to improve: (person being rated) if you got a low score, kindly ask 'do you have any suggestions on how i could improve?' (person rating) when rating someone, make sure to mention why you are giving that score and always say it in a kind manner. such as 'i love your pfp! however i think your b/w and banner need work. for these reasons, I'd give you a 4/10. keep improving and let me know if you need help <3' Please note that in no way am I saying that you have to give bad ratings out. Just be honest, if you think the person's prf is great, give them a nice score. If it needs work, say that! 2. friendships based on followers a lot of aes scratchers are only interested in being friends with 'popular' people. people who have 500, 1000, etc. (followers) for example, not a lot of people want to be my friend because I have so little followers. however, friendships are not based on followers. perhaps it would be nice to have that scratcher in your circle, but to go hunting for them and 'forcing' them to be your friend is unacceptable. doing this makes them even less likely to want to be your friend, and all of the people whose friendship offer you rejected would be resentful and hurt. 2a. another thing i dislike which is related is only responding to well-known or popular scratcher's comments. i have seen so many instances where people comment on someone's prf and the scratcher only replies to the well known people. here's what i mean (made up example, no one did this): griffpatch (2 weeks, 2 days ago): hi there! me (2 weeks, 2 days ago): omg hi griffpatch! bob (2 weeks ago): hi briar! scratch cat (1 week, 3 days ago): woww pretty prf! me (1 week, 3 days ago): tysm!!! yours too! sally (1 week, 2 days ago): hey, nice to meet you! frocho (56 minutes ago): you are sooo aes :D me (53 minutes ago): tysm milan! you are my idol <3 kayla (53 minutes ago): hi, hru? it's really heart-breaking to see things like this. and yes, i understand, some people can't reply to everyone. but the specific order that they do reply is rather strange to me. ways to improve this (2 and 2a): 2. try to be friends with anyone who asks <3 but remember, dont become friends with EVERYONE. try to stay in touch with some specific people! quality or quantity! 2a. when replying the comments, reply in the order of importance. it's different for everyone, but i'm going to list a general one which i would use. 1. orders completed notice, contest ending soon, important info 2. timeframe for orders, contest results 3. notification for proj, your bestie's comments (2~3) 4. everything/everyone else dni and/or delete (my preferences/opinions): h, drama, f4f or ads, so-so has moved, good reason ban evasion
