9 years after the Battle of Hogwarts... I looked into the distance past my house. I got up and walked to the cemetery nearby. It was May 2nd, and every year, I sat by my parents' graves. I did the same thing this year. Even though it wasn't my fault, I felt responsible for their death. I remembered that when I was young, I used to spend all day with Mum on my birthday, just the two of us. When I was sad, angry, or upset, Mum would braid my hair while I told her what was wrong. And afterwards, we would pick flowers with Astrid, Celia, and Dawn, and Mum would put some in our hair. And Dad would always plan a day full of fun. When I was 4 and 5, he used to play with me. He called me "his little flower"or "Rosie". He used to lift me up in the air and spin me around. When I got older, he couldn't do that. Tears roll down my cheek as more memories flood into my brain. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and saw my friends, Meadow Jones, Leah Black, and Ashley Potter. "Hey." Ashley said. "John's on his way." Leah adds. Meadow didn't say anything. She'd always been the type of friend to just keep you company when you were sad. I realized that Meadow's eyes were full of tears. She sits down next to me as the others leave. Soon, John comes to me and Meadow. "Hey Ell. Had to bring Eileen, or she would be alone." he said. I nod and turn to Eileen. "Go find your aunt, okay?" I said. "Okay, mum." Eileen said. Meadow leaves with her, and leaves me with John. "I miss them every day." I said. "And I miss my dad every day, too. But he died when I was 14. Much harder for me." he says. I rest my head on his shoulder and look up into the night sky. "A full moon." John whispers. Some more tears fall. "Orchideous!" I said. A bouquet falls onto the ground in front of the graves. The flowers were bubblegum pink. My hair changes to bubblegum pink as well. Soon, Eileen comes back and we go back home. I don't cry any longer. I just put Eileen in bed, and read a book until I go to bed. The night ended just like any other nights on May 2nd.
