-~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~- How does the Scratch equestrian community work? -~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~- Stables: Across the platform, there are so many amazing stables! You can join more than one, though some do have specific guidelines to follow (Must have more than 5 horses, must keep horses for that stable in a separate barn, ect, ect). Stables are a place where you can find sales, find friends, learn about horses, be part of the community and so much more! -~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~- Currency($) and sales: Depending on what stables you are in, you may have multiple currencies (i.e. Sunset stables-GC or gold coins, MFS- GE or galloping equines). Most sales only take a couple of currencies so always check what currencies you have and what currencies the sale takes. Depending on the stable, you start with an amount of currency at the beginning (usually around 50ish). If you run out of currency, then you are in debt. You will eventually have to pay this back. Usually horses are around 10-20$ but it depends on the art style and how popular the artist/seller is. -~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~- Barns: Some Stables have their own barns but you usually make your own to house your horses. -~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~- Horses: You can get horses from sales or draw your own. If you have a breedable mare and stallion, you can pay to have another scratcher draw the foals or draw them yourself. -~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~- Updates, training, and care: When you buy/get a horse, you have to take care of it. You also need to acquire accessories(tack, brushes, feed, etc.) to be able to properly care for your horse. You can also give updates about your horse(s). You can update on many things from training you did that day to your horse giving birth. This is a great way for you (and others) to keep track of what you are doing. -~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~- Shows: Across the platform and stables, there are a great variety of shows you can enter and win prizes from. The prizes vary from $, to ribbons, to free animal art(plus more)! How you win also varies. Some are luck(randomly chosen winners), contests (where you draw/do/create something for the competition and it is judged on how well it was done/made), and much more. -~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~- And I think that is about it!
