━━━ Human Humans don't have any special or unique abilities; a quirk they possess, like most living creatures is to feel wide ranges of emotion. Because of their simple nature, humans who are also Path Users are commonly invited to the Monarchy-funded House of Prestige to be students as adults. Unlike ghouls, who are invited during their adolescent years. ━━━ The Ghoul : Cursed Ghouls are humans affected by The Stilldead curse. This curse causes the fading of personality that only grows worse over time. Your once lively personality becomes hollow, lacking positive emotion. This curse, amidst the negatives, offers a useful trait which can be harnessed and used for good. All ghouls can sense Aands. Ghouls also have naturally increased intelligence. Ghouls have some defining physical differences to humans, caused by their curse. They have stark white hair. Ghouls have at least one blacked-out eye, where their eyeball are made of pure shadows. And their face may be partially shrouded in these harmless black vapors, dripping away and reform. The curse of the Stilldead remains within the bloodline of all ghouls; so in theory, you can be a ghoul and be incapable of any Path magic. ━━━ Nouts : Stilldead animals Nouts are unique because they gain human speech and personalities with similarly Stilldead physical traits. This isn't an effect of the Stilldead curse, but something unknown... likely the result of a forbidden Path. Commonly, Nouts take the form of domestic cats, dogs, mice, rats, doves, rabbits and horses, which accompany ghouls at all times. And just like ghouls, Nouts have the same weird albino effect with their fur/hair/feather and shadow mist eyes made of darkness. ━━━ Archangels : Blessed Archangels are humans given angel wings by the Blessing of the Angel. They retain all human traits and are given pure white wings. The feathers of their wings are light but nearly indestructible.
