11 Feb 2016 I have to say, this is one of my favorite old projects. ___ Song: Jylo by Inkyz (yees, I do realize it's not a dark song) Blood warning. The timing broke, watch it like 8 times okay? Calamity's dark past... :o SIDE LIPSYNCHING IS FRIGGIN HARD STORY: (warning it's dark, no blood though) An old black fox slunk through the alleyway, slipping through a sewer tunnel. "Zella, I'm back." He placed a tiny wet foxling in front of a vixen with unblinking golden eyes. Zella leaned down to inspect it, turning it around with her paw. "What a runt." Zella muttered, flicking the cub with one of her sharp grey claws. It squealed, and Zella turned her gaze to the cowering fox in front of her. "Darius, I told you to get the strongest one in the litter, not THIS one! I'm going to need to punish you..." Zella began to stalk forward, her yellow eyes glinting angrily. "N-no, wait!" Darius stammered, leaping back. "What now?" Zella watched him carefully. "They-they named her Calamity." "WHAT?!" Zella's eyes grew wide. "No. No, no, NO." "The same Calamity as in the omen?" Darius guessed, looking down. "It must be!" Zella growled. "We will raise her to be one of us." "I'll take her to the Habitat." Darius said, picking up the foxling and padding away. The Habitat was a dark, cold place where foxlings lived on scraps and bones, and were taught to fight like wolves. Their mentors and commanders were the Watchers, three large dogs, all teeth and no mercy. Darius dropped the cub in front of Two, one of the Watchers. "New member." Darius muttered, looking up at the hound. Two inspected Calamity, staring right into her green eyes. "Section 3." Two growled, pointing his nose towards an area with a toxic green puddle and several trashcans lying around. Darius nodded, taking Calamity to her assigned section, where a vixen waited for them. "Section three," the vixen said, "Intensive training." She then dragged the innocent cub away into the shadows, where they were going to make Calamity a killer. Too lazy right now to write the rest, but here's a summary of the rest of the story: Calamity grows up to be a ruthless member of the Ersin, (a dark organization of foxes), but when she takes the first innocent life, she almost loses herself, and turns on Ersin just as the omen said she would. Calamity walks the streets alone, rather crazy. After many weeks of walking alone, she meets Lee, a shy cat with a bad stammer, and he helps her regain her sanity, and they become friends.
