This is basically just my experience with wearing my tail to school :) Day 1- so it worked out pretty well the first day we had testing so I was in the same room for most of the time. but partway through the test the kid next to me started messing with it so I just moved my seat back away from him and it turned out fine. I got a couple complements on it too those people made my day :) it’s always nice to meet people you feel safe around. Latter in science a kid at my table said “FURRY OMG ITS A FURRY” but he wasn’t that bad he stopped bothering me like 30 sec after he stared. Day 2- we weren’t testing today so I walked around a little more I had PE first and that kid from science was in it so it was an interesting 45 min but then again not that bad. I left my tail in my locker for PE cause basketball with a tail is not easy (for me anyway.)Every single time a pass that kid he coughs under his breath *furry like, bro get a life. later in the day a different kid asks me if my tail is in my butt or attached to my pants then I hear him whisper to his friend “I think that kid is a FURRY” The next week the next few days were fine but then one of the teachers stops me in the hallway and tells me that my tail is an “academic distraction” it’s not though, I pay attention to everyone around me and none of them are distracted and if anything it makes it eisier for me to focus. Sooo that’s about it the eww furry comments have dialed down a little but none of them forgot.
Plz ignore my bad grammar I highly recommend this to anyone who feels comfortable doing this. The teacher can not take it away for more time that the end of the and I think they can only take it if you refuse to put in in your locker. Just make sure you feel safe in your school first and tell an audault if the bullying gets out of hand. -Bristlefeost
