How were the last few days of camp? Did you get my letter?” “Yep,” they were about to say more, but all of a sudden, the bell rang, so off Mads dashed to get to their homeroom on time. They met up again later, at lunch and Dawn gave Mads their birthday gift. “It’s nothing that extreme,” Dawn said, clasping the bracelet onto Mads’s wrist. But Mads just smiled as if it was the best gift in the world. “So, how was the rest of your summer? You never finished telling me during homeroom.” “Not too shabby! And guess what, Emillie tripped and fell into the lake on the last night's campfire!” “No way!” Dawn exclaimed. They shared another hug before heading out to the playground swings. It was a sort of childish interest, but they both loved swings so much, pushing each other back and forth, or trying to match their speed and distance. Finally, they were back together.
a short story made of letters sent between two people thanks to @HoneyAppleGhost, my irl friend for giving me inspiration and ideas and for motivating me to keep writing.
