Genevieve’s Secret Chapter 7 I walked home with a smile on my face and a skip in my heart. I watched the peaceful city of Paris. The boat floating down the Seine. The families at the park. The wonderful smell of fresh bread coming from the building next to me. I was next to the Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie. I loved the smell of the bread and would often stop to smell it when one of their customers went inside. I continued walking home, excited to see Ella and Brooklyn. We were going to the park later today. The Next Day… I heard the bell ring and felt nauseous. Again, like before. Everything started whirling. I woke up in Ella’s house. Ella and Brooklyn both yawning until I realized I was too. “Guys, is it just me or was it actually real?” Ella asked. “Do you mean being in Miraculous?” Brooklyn asked. “Yes!” Ella said, excitedly, “Which means…” she looked at me with excitement. “Yes, I’ll bring you with me every time I go to Miraculous Heroes, speaking of which,” I said. I pressed the button on my watch and they watched in amazement as the screen popped up. “Wow!” Ella said. At noon, I decided to go back to Years At Hogwarts. As the clock struck twelve, I clicked the button and the whirling came, then I woke up. I went to breakfast in a pretty good mood, then I saw Adalaide talking to Avery. I remembered when Adalaide chose them over me. It made me feel angry in a strange way. Adalaide walked up to me. “You’re still hanging out with them?” I asked with disgust in my voice, before I could stop myself. “What’s wrong with that?” Adalaide asked. “Nothing,” I said, too quickly. “Are you jealous?” Adalaide asked, smugly. “What?! No!” I exclaimed. She smirked. Was I jealous? I decided to make sure she wouldn’t bring it up again. Before I could say anything, she said, “Would you like to meet them? They're really nice.” Now was my chance, "No. If you say anything more about them then I will not talk to you for a week." "You're so stubborn Viv, why don't you want to meet them?" I heard her whisper. I got up and started walking away. I told her the conditions and she crossed them. I heard her and her new friends talking behind me. Then, one of them asked if they wanted to be closest friends and Adalaide said yes. I frowned. I was her best friend though. It was time for the Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff quidditch match and I was excited to say the least. The seeker on the Hufflepuff team was young and had little experience and wouldn’t be as good as Felix. Ugh, Felix. After the match, I was talking to Adalaide and mentioned asking Felix to the ball. To my surprise, her eyes were filled with tears and she ran off. Then, I remembered that she didn’t know Felix was a terrible person and couldn’t feel relieved. At dinner, I sat with Adalaide and her new friends to prove I wasn’t jealous. But when I sat down, Adalaide walked away. Me, Her, and Peter had caused a scene in the Great Hall which left Adalaide running out crying. I felt so bad. After dinner, I went to bed after reading for a bit. At breakfast, I sat with Adalaide and her friends and got to know them a bit. They really weren’t bad. After a few classes was lunch. I felt like I was spinning. Then, I was back at lunch at my original school. I sighed, taking in the smell of today’s lunch, Italian Dunker and chips. I talked to Ella and Brooklyn to a while and then went to class.
