Welcome to Pamela: A Picture Story! This time I decided to make the character with @1-o-v-e's icon maker. :) Space or click to move on. *WARNING* Surgery and cancer Age 10 - Pam or Pammy: Pam was diagnosed with cancer in her left leg when she was 4 years old. At 5, she went in to have it amputated up to the hip. She is too young to get an artificial limb, so now she is in a wheelchair. The kids at her school have known her forever, so Pam doesn't get bullied. She is a happy, spunky, girl. She doesn't think much of religion. Age 11 - Pamela or Pam: Pam's mother dies in a tragic car crash along with Pam's sister Margaret. Pam is heartbroken. She trudges through school each day only to come home to cry in her bed. Starts to explore religions. Age 12 - Pamela: Pamela's Dad gets a girlfriend named Lacy, who is Muslim, and Pamela likes her. Pamela also gets the haircut she's been wanting. Pamela explores Islam. Age 14 - Pamela: Lacy and Pamela's Dad get married! Pamela is happy for them, but she doesn't forget the memory of her mother and sister. Pamela sometimes goes to the mosque with Lacy. She also gets her ears pierced. Age 15 - Bamla: Pamela changes her name to Arabic باملا, or Bamla. Lacy helps her understand the Muslim faith, and Bamla goes to the mosque every week. Age 16 - Bamla or Bee: Bee starts wearing a hijab and studying the Koran, and still goes to the mosque every week. Lacy helps her, and enrolls her in a Islamic private school. Age 17 - Bamla: Bamla makes a friend (named Sasha) from her job at the local coffee shop, and they hang out a lot. Age 18 - Bamla: Bamla gets married to a man named Amir, and she quits her job to go to medical school to support her new family. She and Sasha are still friends, but Bamla makes a new friend, Anya, who is dating Sasha's brother (named Josh). Age 20 - Bamla: Bamla and Amir adopt twins, named Keisha and Marcus. Their marriage is happy, and Bamla also goes on a fun girls' trip with Sasha and Anya. Anya is married to Josh now, and Sasha is still single. Age 21 - Bamla: Lacy (Bamla's stepmom) informs her that Bamla is finally old enough to get a prosthetic leg. Bamla is ecstatic, and goes to therapy twice a week after she receives it.
