Name: Ozy, taken from the poem “Ozymandias”. Faintheart, reflecting Ozy’s cowardice. Age: 18-23, flexible depending on use of character. Gender: fluid, but typically uses she/her. Will use he/him in very formal situations. Looks: short, fluffy brown hair. Honey toned skin, dark hazel eyes. She has three x tattoos underneath her left eye, and wears oval shaped glasses. Her fingers are nimble, and the olive green nail polish she wears on her short nails is almost always chipped. She practically never looks in the mirror, so she always seems a little disheveled. However, she seldom looks as if she is aging, due to the anti-aging products she uses without fail. She consistently wakes up with bags beneath her eyes due to her horrible sleep schedule, but she makes sure that they aren’t noticeable. She typically wears very gender ambiguous clothing, but leans towards clothes that are considered masculine. She wears a white formal long sleeve top with a somewhat large collar, a forest green vest, and khakis, along with white tennis shoes. Other outfits include black skirts and dresses, forest green sun dresses, and a black tuxedo. Personality: very cowardly, her first response to an issue is avoidance. Wears a facade of confidence, very sycophantic. Will hide behind others to get out of the line of fire, and is often cocky when she succeeds. Gets on people’s good side so that she doesn’t have to worry about confrontation. A bit dodgy, and mostly focused on her own self preservation, she is not a good person to trust with your life. Surrounds herself with powerful people to make up for her lack of influence over others. Absolutely hates being called by they/them pronouns, it makes her feel very uncomfortable for some reason, which is why she just typically uses she/her Occupation- Author, uses he/him pronouns in his about the author sections of books and uses the pen name O. Dias. Mostly writes fiction, uses his writing as a form of escapism/avoidance. Backstory- she comes from a rather influential family, her grandfather founded the city she grew up in, Heimora, and she grew up somewhat spoiled due to her family’s status. As she grew, her family began to lose its stature, and she could no longer hide behind her grandfather's legacy like she had been before. However, she found other things, other people, to hide behind and use to her advantage. This led to her gaining a network of sorts, a group of powerful people she surrounded herself with in order to protect her and allow her to fulfill every desire she may have had. Fears: passage of time, clocks
Here’s the poem of Ozymandias just for fun: I met a traveller from an antique land, Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand, Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed; And on the pedestal, these words appear: My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away.” By PERCY BYSSHE SHELLEY
