Created by @gregatku, for my own interest mainly. Coin costume adapted from my Nim project Scoring, Solved animation & Cloud List borrowed from my FFFFrivolous project. Snap in Arrows adapted from my Black Square Puzzle. It's similar to @ffred's Puzzling project, but it is actually much more like @kriblo's Digit Puzzle. It's somewhat easier than those, and should only take you a few minutes. There are several symmetrically equivalent solutions. However if we ignore symmetry, as far as I can determine, there are only 2 slightly different solutions that actually work with the physical puzzle! Thanks to @grandpasp (from this project - https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1276800705 ) for the magic "mouse direction" formula that greatly simplified the code required for the Compass Sprite (on-screen Arrow Keys). WHY Full Screen mode is ESSENTIAL to solve it. The Arrows (On-Screen or Keyboard) are meant to move the selected Coin 1 pixel in the chosen direction. However a Scratch Bug means that if you never go Full Screen and stay on the Project Page, it will move the selected Coin 2 pixels, and that won't allow you to get the coins close enough to edges or other coins to enable you to solve the puzzle! To try the 4 similar puzzles mentioned above: - Frivolous: - Digit Puz: - Puzzling: - Black Sq: The last 3 are very much harder to solve than this one.
