This is something you do whether your Neurotypical or Neurodivergent. Neurodivergent people just tend to need to stim more than Neurotypicals. Types of stimming- ♥ Vestibular ♥ Tactile ♥ Olfactory ♥ Taste ♥ Visual ♥ Vocal Stimming is NOT a bad thing, and unless somebody is hurting themself (Harmful stims would include skin picking, head hitting, head banging, swallowing items and more) with the stim, please do not make them stop. Stimming is very important for many people with Adhd, Autism, and other neurodivergences. ꜱᴛɪᴍᴍɪɴɢ ɪꜱ ʟɪᴋᴇ ʙʀᴇᴀᴛʜɪɴɢ, ᴊᴜꜱᴛ ᴀꜱ ɴᴀᴛᴜʀᴀʟ ᴀɴᴅ ᴊᴜꜱᴛ ᴀꜱ ɪᴍᴘᴏʀᴛᴀɴᴛ. -Katy Kennah -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- ↣Echolalia and Palilalia People with echolalia repeat noises and phrases that they hear. They may not be able to communicate effectively because they struggle to express their own thoughts. For example, someone with echolalia might only be able to repeat a question rather than answer it. In many cases, echolalia is an attempt to communicate, learn language, or practice language. Echolalia is different from Tourette syndrome, where a speaker may suddenly yell or say random things as part of their tic. In this case, they speaker has no control over what they say or when they say it. ( Used from: https://www.healthline.com/health/echolalia ) Palilalia is considered an aphasia, a disorder of language, and is not to be confused with speech disorders, as there is no difficulty in the formation of internal speech. Palilalia is similar to speech disorders such as stuttering or cluttering, as it tends to express itself only in spontaneous speech, such as answering basic questions, and not in automatic speech such as reading or singing; however, it distinctively affects words and phrases rather than syllables and sounds. At least I have a project! I was really close to just deleting the whole thing X3 This project was not meant to infantize those with Autism, Adhd, or other neurodivergence! My art style is very cartoony and was not meant to be calling anyone childish, and I'm sorry if it came off like that T-T -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- ↣Updates: Have any suggestions to make the project better? Tell me in the comments and I might add it ^^ -None yet- -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
