( timeline ) a wings of fire role-play. ( 1 ) old Unseen island- this is what used to be the home of the Unseen. the ash has cooled down, and no more lava is spewing, but a thick cloud of smoke still hangs over the island. birds who live there live to only 50 moons instead of 100, suffocating, or starving. what was left of the forest has melted away, charred, and the only prey is what scurries around helplessly, making soon-to-crumble dens in the burnt stone. it's a pure wasteland, barren of life. it is unclaimed land because of it, but i truly have no idea why any character would claim it. ( 2 ) mount. waypoint- a long, tall mountain, where time runs slowly at the peak and blue snow falls. yaks and snow goats roam near the summit, and it is the tallest in the land, taller than even the mighty jade mountain. located in the northwest corner of the map, it is unclaimed, and a gathering point for some eagles, [N.P.C.s] it remains mostly unclaimed, but a eagle/falcon couple have a house not too far up. they have children, and if your character decides to make the journey there, you'll find they are quite friendly. the blue snow is warm on your scales, (quite suprisingly) and you can stay there for many, many years, as your character ages slowly at the peak (one moon per normal 2 moons) ( 3 ) olden forest- a snowy forest at the northernmost part of the snout peninsula, prey is abundant here. a river runs through the forest, freezing in the winter, (chicks often play ice hockey there!) and trickling with the melted snow in the summer. it is called "olden river," named after the olden times when this was discovered. (the age of the orb, directly after the scorching, but it was soon forgotten about.) relics from the age of the orb are scattered around olden forest, and abandoned houses of both wingless ones and birds litter the banks of the olden river. many birds move here to savor the freedom of the north, as other places are populated with cities and towns, where the climate is better. this is a great place to raise a family. ( 4 ) rocky beaches- (to be renamed, taking ideas) any beaches along the island of way point, sunrise plateau is considered part of this category b.t.w, and the ones on the south end of way point have black sand- rough sand, rocks all along the coast. around you if you're here, birds are leaping from cliffs. these cliffs are an important part of the people who live on the rocky beaches. they provide housing, joy, and prey. houses or nests are scattered along the cliffside, some embedded into the stone and others nesting on top. for the cliffs that aren't jumping spots, ramps line the edges, for wingless birds. from the way that the houses are nested, trypophobic chicks generally hate this area, but roleplaying a trypophobic chick is okay, just don't make them suffer too much. ( 5 ) sunrise plateau- south of the waypoint mountain range, lies a plateau, (if you're confused, search it up on google or firefox or whatever you use. it's just a type of land) full of bustling small villages. they are run by people, and you may ask me or a manager to create a village on sunrise plateau or anywhere else, as long as you have 5+ birds, (chicks count for 2 birds, and so do people planning to make hatchings) it's quite warm, and a good stop on the jade-clear trade route, or the dragonfly-night island trade route. (specified in another project coming soon) the common houses here don't have slanted roofs, just if you're wondering. ( 6 ) lighthouse- at the tip of willow swamp, a lighthouse stands. made of dyed terracotta, natural clay, and bricks, it has been nearly reclaimed by nature. however, it is still in use, and a light globe tree like that of the book series "wings of fire" when banging on the tree, the main globe will illuminate or fizzle out. it is a winding tree, with a large globe in the very center and smaller globes on the branches. they have a sharp blue glow. it illuminates parrots and similar species beautifully, and most birds look rather strange with a globe above their head. you can easily tell what families are important, or take care of the lighthouse, as they often have light globes at their tail or between their horns. the lighthouse can hold 2 families of 1-7. ( 7 ) the sun-water canal- a small canal between the island of clear water and sunset plateau. sunset does not have many resources, being so far south, olden has the same problem but with being far north, and clear water often imports food and decorative plants, so there are many trade routes that go through this canal. continued in notes and credits.
( 8 ) dodo island- dodo island is a jungle home to many species of wildlife, and is stationed in part of clear water, and the two islands off the coast. it is a great tourist destination for fledgelings looking to get away, and the black sand beaches near night island are a hit. the wildlife are diverse, but a thing that makes it stand out are the strange maine coons wandering the isle. they are thought to have been imported by ancient dragons from olden forest and/or willow swamp. ( 9 ) willow swamp- named in honor of its reputation to house spirits, causing an unusual amount of the phenomenon "will o' the wisp" and home to willow lake, this place is mostly uninhabited. mangrove trees (previously thought to be weeping willow trees) also are commonly found here. at the tip stands the lighthouse, which is the one thing that makes people stay here. some birds come here to stay and meetings are held near the lighthouse. (Someone has to host them, help-) not the most popular tourist spot XD. ( 10 ) clearwater- home to the great springs, many good schools and jobs, and an abundance of beautiful topography, clear water is a very well known spot. i do not run any, but major cities include: -great springs, a city on the sun-water canal, it is a city of water and also has some of the best hot springs in the area. -open spot -open spot this has been a guide for the timeline roleplay. please let me know if anything mentions dragons. I tried to remove them, as this is shifting to a bird roleplay.
