"Adrianna, you worry too much. Let me distract you..." Mattheo said dreamily. He leaned closer and closer to Addie. Her heart started to race, and she froze. The world started to spin, and their faces were so close. He had an evil look in his eyes that made her nervous, but at the same time, they were what she loved the most. She had fallen into his little trap, falling, and falling. "Addie, Addie!" Someone was shaking her. Addie's eyes popped open. Charlotte Potter looked down at her. Since Eva moved dorms, Charlotte came in with Addie. She had found out that Draco Malfoy and her were dating each other, and she did not like it, but who has time for boys anyway? Charlotte did. "Wha-yeah?" She asked. Addie thought she would be really annoying, but it turns out, they're actually really great friends. "We're gonna be late!" Charlotte said. Addie checked the clock. "Shoot! It's 7:50!" We missed breakfast, and now, we're gonna miss potions!" She rushed to get her school robes on, along with her bag and wand. They rushed down to the potions classroom and burst through the door. Professor Snape was standing there. "You're late," He said coldly. Charlotte gulped. "Uh, sorry professor, we, uh, got lost?" Addie said unconvincingly. "Sure, take your seats!" He said. They sat down beside Mattheo. He smiled at Addie. She blushed. "Turn to page 56 in your textbooks," Snape said. Addie looked over at Eva and Celia. They were glaring at her. Eva and Celia weren't fighting anymore, but they both hated Addie now. She turned back around. When potions class was finally over, Charlotte, Mattheo, and Addie went their separate ways. On her way to herbology, she ran into a girl with white hair just like Draco. "Ow, watch where you're going!" The girl said. "I'm sorry, are you okay?" Addie asked. "I'm fine, you?" "Fine, so which class are you going to?" Addie asked her. "Herbology" She asked. "Same! What's your name?" Addie questioned her. "I'm Carina, Carina Malfoy, what's your name?" Addie was shocked. "Oh, I'm Adrianna Black," Carina gasped. "You're Sirius Black's daughter!" She said with awe. "I am, but you're Draco's sister, right?" Addie interrogated. "I promise, I'm not proud, I don't know how his little girlfriend manages," Carina giggled. "Do you wanna hang out later?" She asked. "I can't, the quidditch game is tomorrow," She said. "Oh, yeah. You and Draco have to rest," Carina realized. "Let's get to class," Addie told Carina. When they arrived, the Gryffindors were there too. Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Neville were all Addie's friends too. "Today, we will be harvesting venomous tentacula. Watch closely," Professor Sprout, the herbology teacher, said. After that disaster, Addie made her way to lunch. She wanted to go talk things over with Celia and Eva, so she made her way to the Gryffindor table. It was awkward. "Uh, hey guys... how are you?" Addie asked them. They just stared at her and turned around. Addie started to walk away sadly. Suddenly a girl with long brown hair and blue eyes came up to her. "Are you okay?" She asked. "You seem sad," Addie looked at her. "Um, I'm okay, thanks. Er-what's your name?"Addie asked the girl. "I'm Eleanor, but you can call me Ellie. It's nice to meet you!" She said. Addie smiled. "I'm Adrianna, but you can call me Addie if you want. It's nice to meet you, too!" Eleanor smiled back. She glanced over at the Slytherin table and saw Carina waving Addie over. "Um, someone's waving for you. I think it's Carina!" Eleanor said. "You know her?" Addie asked. "Yeah, we met in potions. Well, see you later!" Eleanor farewelled. Addie walked over to Carina. "Hey! Do you wanna sit with me?" She asked. "Sure!" Addie said. She was scanning the Great Hall when she spotted a 2nd year sitting alone at the Slytherin table. Addie tapped Carina and pointed at her. Carina smiled and they walked over to her. Her hair was naturally dark purple, something Addie had never seen before. "Hi, what's your name?" Addie asked the girl. "My name is Astrid Lupin, what's yours? Astrid asked. "I'm Adrianna, and this is Carina, and you can call me Addie if you want to! Do you mind if we sit with you?" Astrid blinked. "I don't mind at all! It's so nice to meet both of you!" Carina and Addie sat across from her. Mattheo walked into the Great Hall. He looked at Addie. She waved, and patted down on a seat beside her. Mattheo sat. "Uh, who are you guys?" He asked uncertainly. "I'm Astrid, and this is Carina. Who are you?" Astrid said. "Mattheo Riddle, nice to meet you. Addie, can I talk to you?" He asked. Now Charlotte was there too, introducing herself. "Sure," Addie said. "Not here, let's go to my dorm so no one can hear us. This is serious..." Mattheo said. When they reached his dorm, they sat down. "What is it?" Addie asked. Mattheo hesitated. "Addie, I feel so different, and I don't know what it is," "Can you describe it?" Addie asked. Mattheo nodded.
