The windcatcher is a stationary organism that lives on windy beaches and grasslands. The windcatcher uses big structures to catch wind, which it then turns into energy that it harvests using specialized cells in its body. The windcatcher uses its sail-like appendages meant to harness kinetic energy, and is able to rotate them to get the most wind, or to avoid large storms. The body of the creature is covered by a thin layer of moss-like structures meant to take water in directly from the air, alongside its deep root system which protects it from storms.
