I've been wanting to make an introductory project to my story on here for a while now so you can know where all of the ocs on this account come from, and learn a little more about their stories! so here is a little intro to a project I've worked on since 2021, carpe diem ! Carpe Diem is a crime fiction / western story that follows the tale of Kipper, the inexperienced sheriff of a small rural town, who eventually finds himself entangled within the doings of the town's underground bounty hunting system. Kipper must learn to put his pride and past aside as he pursues Carter, a misunderstood bounty hunter with a goal to fulfill his late parents debts to a crime kingpin, and make things right before it is too late. this story takes place during the late 1800's, and frequently switches between two important locations. The small mountain town of ghost's ridge (where most of the main cast lives), which is structured quite similarly to a settlement straight out of the old west.
