Inermidon are descendants of swamp runners. Inermidon spend their days swimming around through the water, now adapted to moving without limbs. They reach lenghts of up to 4 meters, but have to worry less about the square-cube law because they live in the water and the water buoyancy (that's how it is spelled?????) keeps them up from falling to the bottom. Their strong jaws aren't designed only for tearing meat; inermidon sometimes use strong teeth to tear apart roots to make clear ground for building nests. Despite being brutal hunters, inermidon are social creatures and are very gentle with eachother. Although many die young due to predation, disease, or starvation, a healthy inermidon can live as long as 40 years.
Inermidon hunt in groups of 3-5 by stalking their prey from afar and slowly getting closer. When in the distance to strike, they start swimming towards the prey from all sides, grabbing the prey with their strong jaws and dragging the prey underwater until it drowns. Although inermidon swim like snakes when hunting, when they are not hunting, they swim on the water's surface with their tails up, like ducks and ducklings; like on the picture.
