The goal: Get as much tea as possible. How to get tea: Tax the colonies. How to get colonies: Hire explorers. How to get explorers: Buy them (you start with a free colony) The catch: The more you tax the colonies, the more they will declare independence, which makes you lose the colony and most of your tea. If you run out of colonies, you lose.
Don't rage quit when you lose your only colony in the first 10 seconds (I almost guarantee you will). Use each loss as a lesson, for the empire on which the sun never sets.
