chap. one - the unnecessary forgetfulness She used to always say to never forget. She would say that forgetfulness was a burden, that if you happened to carry, would be pressuring you for the rest of your life. And simply because of that, I vowed to never forget again in the short time life has given me. It may seem strange. But I can’t forget, because she was the one who taught me how to wield a crossbow. She was a better teacher than I had ever been, and will ever be. One of the many things I will never forget is how her voice slipped through my ears like honey. How her hair flew through the warm breeze. She was quite a character. Always had something to say. But there’s something that lurks. An overwhelming sixth sense of guilt and culpability.
