Aim of the game: This Scratch game is designed to support student learning, helping students learn about the difference between 2d shapes and 3d shapes. By the end of the Scratch game -Sorting Shapes- They will have a clear picture of what is called a 2d shape and what is called a 3d shape. Instructions: Intro: Meet Abby, she will guide you on your learning journey in discovering the differences between 2D and 3D shapes. Sorting shapes: - Click on a shape located on the bottom of your screen and use your mouse to drag the shape to the correct box. - If it is a 2D shape, drag the shape to the 2D box, if it is a 3D shape, drag the shape to the 3D box. - Once you have dragged the shape to the correct box click on the shape to check your answer. - If the shape is in the wrong box, it will reappear bellow for you to have another go. - If the shape is in the right box, the shape will disappear. - If you need help, click on the ‘?’ question mark button for instruction. - Once all the shapes have been sorted in their correct box, click on the green button in the top left-hand corner to go to the next stage. - Next Abby will ask you to click on the side that has the most shapes. - Count the shapes on your screen and click on the side with the most shapes. Game ends.
