This is most likely my final project in Scratch, so I decided to finally clean up this old thing from my alt (RIP). It has been a pleasure to code with y'all and be apart of this community the last 3-4 years. You guys made sure i wasn't bored during all my freetime at school. Thanks for the support, comments, and help from all of y'all. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Changes: Reskinned the "Garden" plots Base/Nothing planted spaces Obsidian Flowers are Wither Roses on Dirt Dead Spaces are a Custom Deepstone texture from the Internet Cleaned up the spacing of the blocks Improved the set-up code Re-named all gazillion variables I have in this project for my sanity (if you wanna see them go look inside there's a crap ton) Adjusted the Ressurection Rule (Rule 4) [Shoutout to my brother for his more accurate interpretation of it]--now any non-flower space with 3 neighbors will resurrect even if it was not planted originally Added a background And some music bc why not? (Six songs, all D2, and they are some of my faves) ----------------------------------------------------------------- THE RULES : The Flower Game from D2 From the lorebook Unveiling: "These are the rules of a game. Let it be played upon an infinite two-dimensional grid of flowers. Rule One. A living flower with less than two living neighbors is cut off. It dies. Rule Two. A living flower with two or three living neighbors is connected. It lives. Rule Three. A living flower with more than three living neighbors is starved and overcrowded. It dies. Rule Four. A dead flower with exactly three living neighbors is reborn. It springs back to life." -----------------------------------------------------------------Coding for the game works in the same way, Rules 1, 3, and 4 are the ones that eliminate flowers, so those are the only ones that are coded.
