— press space or click for a version of their ref without accessories, as well as a pixel icon of them and their moodboard [created by me!] i thought I’d share my main oc right now in their own project! i just finished redesigning them <3 i wouldn’t describe them as a sona simply because they’re not really meant to be me— they have their own life and story and identity. but they definitely have some traits in common with me and they are going to be used the most! ★—info—★ their name is tarocco, after a variant of blood oranges, but they go by “rory” or simply “ro”. they are nonbinary, agender to be specific, and use they/it pronouns. they are 18 years old and are the god of transitions and change. rory is the child of the god of time and the god of fire. they receive special attention to their half-siblings, as their parents are each other’s true loves despite time’s marriage to another major god. they were adopted as a younger sibling by a mortal named alani, and quickly gained younger siblings in the form of two “malevolent” shapeshifting spirits who turned out only to be annoying but deeply caring troublemakers. in jealousy of its good life, one of rory’s half-siblings cursed it to be invisible to time and moved it into an entirely different time period in the future, where its family no longer exists. rory is now struggling to find its foothold in this strange world and get back to its family, but is aided by two partners named neon and pastel who slowly become like parents to rory. rory is quiet and hot-headed, and incredibly stubborn when they believe they’re in the right. they’re doggedly loyal to anyone they like, which is a very small group of people. because of their parentage, they take a big interest in learning the mortal craft of fire magic, among other magics they’re attempting to learn. ★—design—★ — design created by me! — its markings are entirely symmetrical EXCEPT for its face! — rory has their hair tied back in a small, low ponytail! — while the glasses and cloak aren’t required accessories, they are very much preferred. rory can also wear any other accessories, such as jewelry, other scarves, plants, bags, hats… etc! — their markings and colors are inspired by moths— specifically the comet moth— and blood oranges where they get their name from. — because of its association with transition and change, and also because they’re my special interest, moths are a big part of rory’s godly aspect. feel free to draw it with moths! any species is cool!
