Backstory: Haruki grew up in a small village on the outskirts of a kingdom that was constantly under threat of invasion. When he came of age, he enlisted in the army to defend his homeland from the enemy forces. Haruki fought bravely and tirelessly in countless battles, witnessing the horrors of war firsthand. As time passed, the lines between right and wrong began to blur for him as he was forced to make difficult decisions in order to survive. After years of fighting, Haruki found himself disillusioned with the cause he once believed in so fervently. Tired of being just another pawn in someone else's game, he made the fateful decision to desert his post and leave behind everything he had ever known. Now labeled a criminal by his former comrades, Haruki survives by any means necessary, using all the skills he learned during his time at war to stay one step ahead of those who seek to bring him to justice. And so Haruki wanders alone through a world torn apart by conflict, haunted by memories of battles won and lost. But deep down inside him burns a flicker of hope that one day he will find redemption for his past sins and finally be able to lay down his sword for good.
