A test to explore the relationship between distance and speed in a parabola. Made a model to show what I mean. Change the slider at the bottom and click green flag. Click the "info" to see what you are investigating! Space bar to re-plot. Also, when speed = 1, why doesn't the dog ever catch the duck? Obviously when speed < 1, the dog NEVER catches the duck...it just ends up circling the center.
Thanks @Samrya and @Chibi-Matoran for helping me with this! I'VE GOT IT! SEE THE INFO BUTTON FOR THE ANSWER! I needed to know this for my sniper game - the scope isn't linear, but parabolic - so I need to know time-distance in such parabola.
