This is the egg chillin (heating?) in the incubator that we made out of stuff from Walmart. I'd say it works pretty well. We're not sure if there's anything in the egg yet, but we'll know in about 5 days :)
Thanks to my mom for finding the egg in the backyard! No, there wasn't a nest. We're pretty sure it's a mourning dove egg, though.
