It was an ordinary day in the ordinary English city of London in the ordinary school of Stone Meadow, grades 4th through 6th. The bell had just rung and everyone was rushing to their next class. Lila had art, her last class of the day on the last day of school - which was even better. Lila sat down at a table at the front of the room and started sketching out her idea for an original character for the Harry Potter fan club. Lila wad the president for the Harry Potter fan club, so she was in charge of doing everything a president of a fan club needed to do, like accepting applications and making membership cards. While she was working, two students walked in and sat down at her table and took out their sketchbooks to start drawing. “Hello!” The first student exclaimed. “My name is McKenna!” “Oh…. Nice to meet you I guess.” Lila replied. “Hi, I’m Sophie.” The second student interjected in a rather bored voice. “Pleasure.” Lila responded, very focused on her drawing. “Ex-cuse me!” Sophie cried, annoyed. “Hmm?” Lila questioned, looking up from her drawing. “Why don’t you tell us YOUR name?” “R…..er….Lila. Lila Stone.” Lila replied simply. She went back to drawing and soon McKenna and Sophie joined her, each drawing their own separate thing. Roughly five minutes later, the art teacher told the class, to much appreciation, that they were going to be making boxes out of clay that day. Delighted, McKenna started making a gymnastics themed box. Sophie started on a box that was pink-all pink. And Lila started making a Gryffindor themed one. All was well until the art teacher came over and asked Lila to come out in the hall with her. When she asked: “Why does this sheet say your first name is Rose?” The blood drained from Lila’s face.
