7-year old Amila didn't realize it, but she was getting the greatest opportunity ever. Her family was selected to go to a new planet! The planet of Kysandria was recently discovered, and scientists chose five families to go there. They knew almost nothing about it. Was there other life? Was there water? The only thing people knew was that there was oxygen, which was very good. The only bad thing about this was that Amila had very good friends on Earth, friends she would never see again... Her parents bought her the newest Iphone, which was advertised as: "Works so well you can use it in space!" The day we left was bittersweet. We got this totally unique experience, but had to leave everything behind. My family of 4 packed their backs and headed to the space center. We were greeted by a worker. "Hello, Baker family! We have Michael Baker, 45, Neurosurgeon. Sue Baker, 44, 5-star chef. Roger Baker, 14, unemployed. Amila Baker, 7, unemployed. Is that correct?" "Yes." "Alright. Please follow me." We followed her into the shuttle and found rows of rooms. She showed us our four rooms. Above our rooms, their was a sign that said: BAKER. There were four other groups of signs saying: JACKSON, HAMILTON, EVERGREEN, and FOSTER. Over the week-long trip, I learned the Jacksons had one little boy,: Percy. The Hamiltons had a boy named Phillip. The Evergreens had a girl named Brystal, a boy named Barrie, and another boy named Brooks. The Fosters had a girl named Sophie, and a girl named Amy. We got to know each other very well, and by landing time, I had some replacement best friends. We got off at this strange planet, and I immediatly face-timed my Earth friends. Our group walked around, and didn't see much. I thought there was going to be other intelligent life! Until nightfall. When the stars showed, they saw a gathering of lights they instantly drove their provided family multi-terrain Jeeps towards. Arriving at the lights, they found a village of attractive human-like creatures. This was the intelligent life. They headed in... "Where is your leader?", my dad asked in a bold voice. A soft, beautiful female voice answered, "In that big black building facing westward is where our Mayor Clark resides." "Thank you, ma'am," Mr. Foster replied. "Oh, no trouble. We don't get many tourists here, and everyone knows where The Big Black Building is." We headed towards The Big Black Building to see the Mayor... follow 4 pt. 2!
