After the horrors of the Holocaust, there was mass immigration of the Jewish people, who once again, had nowhere to call home. But the hope of a new day, a new life is what kept them going. So Jews started returning to the homeland, our precious land of milk and honey. This song reminds us that even though the world is a difficult and often dark place, we must not fear.
