They were liked by almost everybody, they were fragile, and when someone plucked their petals, it hurt. A lot. Though physically for the rose, mentally for Aspen. Suddenly, a deep voice called her name. "Aspen!" She gripped the rose tighter and fluttered to the ground, in front of her father, Cupid. "Yes, daddy?" She said. He tried to smile. "Aspen...we have to tell you something." He didn't wait for a response before continuing. "The other Gods are mad at me for forming... disappointing relationships between people, so they forged war on me. Well, I can't have you in the middle of that, so, my lovely.. I'm going to have to send you down to earth." ___________________________________________________
