Second Place in CANDYDONUT2000's Contest!!! =================================================== Now, a little background: This Poem is about a redwood tree in a forest otherwise made up of Pines and Oaks. He trys to sprout up high like them, but they keep pushing him down. But the "Wise Old Fern" Keeps telling him to try, until one day he sprouts high above the others!
I am proud to say that I have worked on this poem for three or four days, making it the best it can be. However, It was inspired by "Survival" By the Poet Tony Johnston.
