so, almost 5 years on this godforsaken website, huh? (moving to @termanyx) i started scratch when i was 11, almost 12. i have made some frendships on here that i have kept, even had a relationship on this site (which is dumb), and that lasted 3 whole years, even after my old account @HomeGrownGamrKid got banned. i have a community here, but i have to say that i have to leave scratch behind for good. i've grown up, i'm in literal highschool now. here are my reasons of leaving Scratch ===============TOXIC FOLKS=============== man this site had gotten very toxic over the years. in 2020, this site was a good site, i made friends, i had a genuinely loving community, and i got banned for some reason. i don't know why i got banned, but i never got a reason as to why i had to leave. this site has gotten so political, so toxic, so... blegh! i have moved operations to sites like Discard and YouTube. if you wanna see my yt, it's @termanyx, or "Terminated Onyx," and my disc is termanyx. this site has gotten so toxic to the point that i have just refrained from doing anything on this site, because this is getting out of hand. ==========SCRATCH MODERATION=========== oh my lord the moderation can be goofy sometimes, and not in a good manner. this site can ip ban literal minors just for saying the wrong word, tryna keep itself "sanitized" or whatever the hell that means nowadays, which just can be "political correctness," a concept i don't even fully understand, let alone know about. i'm just some furry on the internet doing animations. the moderation is so bad that like your entire ip could get banned for small infractions sometimes, like it's getting insane to the point that there are people being banned just for saying a small thing when other actually dangerous people creep on this site to pray on people. this site is just despicable with its moderation. just please fix this, ST. even if you take this project down bc you don't like it, just heed the warning: this site needs better moderation. if i ever come back to scratch, i may make a new account, i'll put it here when it's ready. and probably i'll help out @TheOneWho_Asked with their projects such as Project Eukarion and stuff like that. so i'll let yall know when i come back to scratch if i ever do ==============I GREW UP================== isn't it obvious? scratch was designed for kids, and i'm not a kid anymore, i'm in highschool now, and this site just isn't for me anymore. i'm sorry i cant stay here, i'm not griffpatch who can just stay here and keep content flowing. i'm not a content farm, i'm an animator so i will go for now, though i will be commenting and stuff, i just wont be making projects anymore. alright i'll go now, seeya
