“And above all, I promise I will use my power to help people around the world however I can!” A thunderous applause started as soon as she finished speaking. Marionette Richman, she was practically every 12-year-old girl’s idol, or at least the idol of everyone who lived in the Eastern Nation. She walked off stage with a blinding smile and sat down in her chair which was on the same row as mine! Honestly, this is probably the best part about being a magic user! “Now if Spirit Livefree could please come up.” It was quiet as people looked over at the Void users' still empty chair. Whoever Livefree was they haven’t shown their face for the entire ceremony- The back doors slammed open making me and several other people jump and look back to see a young girl with shoulder length black hair and eyes and brown skin. And a really scary expression on her face. She slowly walked up to the stage her eyes scanned the room as if she was searching for someone. She got to the stage and talked to the teacher about something that made her frown more before she went up to the microphone. “For those of you who haven’t figured it out yet I’m Spirit Livefree, now I’m supposed to give my life story and then tell you what I will do in school and reassure you that I’ll use my magic for the better of the A United World Organization. Right, Mrs. Sulla?” The teacher nodded but clearly wasn’t liking where this was going. A slight smile appeared on Spirit’s face. “Well I was never made aware of that so I don’t have a speech to give and so I’m just going to keep it short and sweet: I’m a foster kid who got adopted about six years ago, I plan to study hard at school and ace all of my classes, and I’ll follow the UWO’s laws and any orders they’ll give me.” She immediately walked away from the microphone and went to her seat. Livefree sat three seats down from me and I tried to lean away from her as subtly as I could. This was definitely the worst part about being a magic user. __________________________________________
-Notes- Well, this is short...but anyway this was originally going to be a part of chp 4 and from spirits pov, but I decide to spit it so that you guys can see how most people view people like Spirit and people like Marionette(who kinda Spirits opposite) And honestly Spirit's thought process the whole time would have been like "oh no oh no oh nononononoon. This is my worst nightmare!" XD. And for this chapter we get two new very important charterers; Marionette Richman, and Yuri (iforgotherlastnamebutitsomethingjapanese-)! OH and I forgot to mention that the world is split up in to three parts: West nation, Center nation, and East nation. Suggestions on how to improve the writing is for this story is appreciated.
