"Shleem" are plant-like organisms that inhabit most of Yaokoba's surface. These ones specifically are "common shleem". They are abundant everywhere because of their efficient survival strategy. They have 3-5 appendages on top, like some kind of tentacles, which can open or close. During the night, they close, but during the day, they will open and the little skin connecting them will absorb water which will nicely fall into the mouth in the center. During winter, they use specialized heat glands to melt snow absorbed by the skin so it can slide into its mouth like normal. A healthy shleem can grow anywhere from 40cm to 200cm in height, in case of this species. Genus: rubrumulsivae Lifespan: 70-80 years
