The quarrhay (sphaera oris) is a mostly immobile species. Quarrhay can walk, but it isn't a common part of their average life. A quarrhay nestles inside holes on rocks and in the ground, safe from potential predators, although never truly. When prey is spotted above, a quarrhay can quickly burst out of it's hole to catch it. Quarrhay also nestle in carrion of larger creatures, using their still remaining warmth to warm up their own bodies. Although they only live 4-5 years, they don't really show signs of aging. Those who find an abundance of food will become creatures known as "alpha quarrhay". They are much larger than the average quarrhay, and are responsible for making tunnels through ice, which serves as shelter for smaller creatures. Despite their size and appearance, they are quite chill. Lifespan: 4-5 years Genus: albinae
