Hello! I am doing an art process today! This is also a remake of another piece I made last year! Instructions: 1. First, I sketched the characters in different colors so I could clearly see their separation. 2. I lower the opacity of the sketch layer. 3. I added a flower crown :3 4. I roughly block in the background a chonky brush. 5. I lower the sketch's opacity, then add a layer on top and draw the line art. 6. Adding a layer under the line art, I fill the entire character’s silhouette in grey. 7. I then clip another layer to the silhouette and start the flat coloring. (Usually, I color the character in the back first, so it looks bad rn Now) 8. Then I color murderbasket. 9. I add another layer, clip it to the color layer, and add pinkish cell shading. 10. Then, set the shading layer to multiply. 11. I then use an airbrush at low opacity, add some soft shading, and lower the shading's opacity. 12. Then I clip another layer to the color layer and use a light yellow airbrush to make the light 13. In a layer under the color, use a light yellow airbrush to the edge of the characters. 14. Then I set the layer to screen 15. I add a more detailed background, just kinda making it up. 16. I set the line art layer to alpha lock, used a light yellow airbrush at low opacity, and colored the line art where the light hits. 17. Eye shinies :3 18. I add some chromatic aberration at 3% 19. I add 4% noise. 20. My watermark/signature 21. And it’s finally done! 22: which one is better? The old one is on the right.
