As you all know, I am a HUUUUUUUGE fan of Chase Elliott. I hate going to the store, but I go now only to see if I can find one of his cars in the diecast section. I even have a trading card SIGNED by him! So, when I was younger, around 6 or 7, I was a Huge Jimmie Johnson fan. After the 2016 season, I fell out of NASCAR. then I came across my diecast collection in late 2017, and started watching again. and there was this one kid that stood out to me: Chase Elliott. Of course, Jimmie was still racing, so I was a huge fan of him at the time. But after watching the 2020 season opener and hearing that it would be his last season in the 48, I needed to find a new driver. and I went with Chase Elliott. as he won a few races, I started feeling that my choice was a good one, and then the big moment hit: Chase Elliott became the 2020 Cup Series Champion. That very next year, I was a fan of him. I started collecting merchandise, and I even had that one super rare $120+ 2016 car. Yeah, you know the one. his 2022 season was pretty darn good, but 2023 was an absolute train wreck. But even through all of that, I still stand strong with him in mind. 2024 has been decent for him, even earning a top 15 in the Daytona 500! Let's see if he can win this next race!
