Recently, I have purchased a game on steam called Micro Platformer. It was very simple, just a little pixel platforming through lots of challenges. But what really gave me the inspiration for a character like that was the interesting gameplay of the peculiar game. For instance, [SPOILER WARNING!] Bouncy pads that launch you very high, or the restore jump and dash things that do what they are called.
