May 23rd, a day before the day the Dark Hearts Society came. ✦✦✦ A new day has risen, and Kirby got up and looked out the window. It was pretty much spring weather, and this morning he decided to make pancakes. That's what he did, and in fact he made twenty. He ate them all up in one go. After that, he thought, Maybe I should say hi to my friends! And so he did. When he arrived at Bandana Dee's door, he knocked. A voice answered, "Alright, I'm comin'!" When Bandana Dee opened the door, he said, "Oh, hi Kirby!" "Hi Bandana!" Kirby replied. Kirby then thought for a bit and asked, "Wanna ride the warpstar with me?" Bandana said yes, and the two then hopped on a warpstar and flew through Dreamland. "Hey Bandana," Kirby said, "You know how we go on so many adventures lately?" "Yeah," Bandana said. "I think we went on one a few days ago." Kirby then thought and said, "There might be an adventure waiting for us tomorrow, but it might come when we least expect it." Bandana then said, "Oh wow, an adventure tomorrow! I might be able to come with you then!" "Wait, what do you mean?" "I have to talk with Dedede today..." "Why do you have to talk to Dedede?" "...It's...regarding some issues in Dreamland." "Oh." Kirby said, turning his head north. "Okay, then." After a bit of flying, Kirby said "Hey, Bandana." Bandana replied, "What is it?" Kirby then said, his head still facing the distance, "Can we make ramen later today?" "Sure!" Bandana said. They then continued flying throughout Dreamland. "Kirby," Bandana then said. "Can we play at your house when we return?" "Alright!" Kirby said. "I don't mind!" "But Kirby," said Bandana, "How do you know what's gonna happen tomorrow?" Kirby then turned towards Bandana. "I don't. That's just what I think." They then flew towards the Castle of Dedede. ✦✦✦ 15 hours before the day the Dark Hearts Society came. Kirby then decided to have lunch, and made forty sandwiches. He shared five of them to Bandana, and five more to Meta Knight, who was nearby at the time. Kirby then ate 25 of them and thought, "Should I spare the last five?" Kirby then finally decided to give the last five to Dedede, and so Kirby went to Dedede's castle with the five sandwiches that are left packed in a bag. When he arrived, he knocked on the castle doors. When he did, he heard a voice coming from behind it. "Who's there?" it said, and five seconds later, the doors opened up. A waddle dee was opening them, and he said, "Kirby?! What are you here for this time?" Kirby then took out the five sandwiches from the bag. "I came here to give these five sandwiches to Dedede. I have a feeling he needs them." "Let me give them to him for you," the Waddle Dee said, snatching the sandwiches out of Kirby's hands. The doors then slammed shut when the Waddle Dee went back through the doors with the sandwiches in hand. Kirby then decided to get back home with the bag, as he thought that his job was done. He then thought to himself, I'm pretty sure that something will be coming to Dreamland tomorrow, but it's probably not a nice guest. When Kirby returned home, he then decided to relax for a bit and play with Bandana some more. ✦✦✦ 10 and a half hours before the day the Dark Hearts Society came. Kirby was playing Tea Time with Bandana and a few plushies that Kirby recieved as gifts the week before. He then said, "Bandana, we should enjoy this day while we can, because there will be some serious buisness tomorrow." Bandana was confused. He then remembered what Kirby said around 9 hours ago. Bandana was getting suspicious about Kirby. "Kirby, how exactly do you know what's gonna happen tomorrow?" "It just came to me out of nowhere," Kirby said. "Anyways, do you want some more tea, Sir Bandana Waddle Dee?" "Um..." Bandana said, unsure. "...Okay, thanks." Kirby then pretended to pour the tea into Bandana's empty cup. After he took a sip of imaginary tea, he said, "Hey, we should have dinner soon. What do you think you'll want tonight?" "Maybe ramen, like we promised this morning," Kirby said. Bandana then thought, Do we have any ramen ingredients? He then said, "Kirby, maybe we should get some ingredients." "Oh, alright," Kirby said. "But once Timothy takes a sip of his tea." Kirby took one of the plushies' cups and raised it to the an elephant plushie, which was right in front of the tea. Kirby then put down the teacup on the saucer in front of the elephant plushie and said to Bandana, "Alright, let's go." ✦✦✦ 10 hours before the day the Dark Hearts Society came. Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee went to Bandana's house with all the ramen ingredients that they bought with 50 star coins from the nearby Dreamland Food Store.Kirby and Bandana then made two ramen bowls in the kitchen and then, before Kirby and Bandana were about to eat them, Bandana noticed that Kirby's bowl was completely empty, and Kirby looked like he was holding it in. [READ INSTRUCTIONS FIRST] Bandana was surprised to see that Kirby had the ramen in before they even started eating! Kirby then gulped it down, and then Kirby asked Bandana, "Hey, do you like me more than the ramen?" Bandana slurped down some noodles and said, "Yeah, why?" "Just wondering," Kirby said. Kirby then asked Bandana, "Can I have a third of your ramen?" Bandana thought and said, "...Sure, if you want!" "Thanks!" Kirby said, scooping up a third of the entire bowl with a measuring cup he found on the table. He then slurped up what was in it and went outside. "K-kirby, where are you going?" Bandana said. "You've been acting suspicious all day, are you going to take part of a ritual or something?" Bandana then went after Kirby. who was doing backflips while holding in the ramen. Bandana didn't know what to say since he was thinking that Kirby was going to partake in some cult ritual, but Kirby then started acting "normal." "Kirby then said, "Can we play for, like, another hour or two?" "Um...sure?" Bandana said concerned, thinking, Oh Nova, what could we be playing? Kirby then noticed Bandana looking concerned. "Is there any problem?" "What?! No! It's just that you've been acting w--" "I've been acting weird?" Kirby interrupted. "Yeah!" Bandana responded. "Oh," Kirby said. "I had visions last night and I've been thinking about them all day. But don't worry, you won't be partaking in any cult-y ritual or anything!" Bandana then said, "...Okay then, Kirby! Now, let's go play indoors!" They then went into Kirby's house, concluding the hour. ✦✦✦ 5 and a half hours before the day the Dark Hearts Society came. Meanwhile, in the Dark Hearts Society HQ... A strange hooded character was tugging on a rope as he walked towards the leader of the Dark Hearts Society. "Dyna Blade has been captured, sir," the hooded person said, kneeling whilst holding the rope. The leader with his back turned, said, "Good. Now, take her to the sector where she will be corrupted." Dyna Blade squawked, flapping her wings frantically. The leader then used a spell on her to make her stop. He then turned foward to the hooded character. "We'll start the attack on Dreamland tomorrow. We know Kirby will come back to fight us." To be continued...
