i thought up random designs in my algebra class and didnt know what to do wit em so now yall getta have em it might become rotating IF i enough motivation to do it due date undecided im not explaining the rules of a dta yall should know like no cheating using ai or gacha life or random art you traced from google or whateva you can make the designs anthro/human ok so if youre not in middle school or in some advanced math class a function is like rules for pairing things up. like graphs and tables. youve prolly seen functions because of ratios or sumn like that but when you get into the BIG KID CLASSES (algebra n stuff like that) then youll see functions as lines on graphs. 1. linear - i hate this one so so much im gonna hit it with a large hammer ok so linear functions are functions that are straight lines .(i mean no duh but jus let me continue) linear functions usually have the equation y=f(x). its the first function youll learn about because its the easiest to understand because theres only two variables; x and y. x is the independent variable (the one that causes the change) and y is the dependent variable (the change in question). there are 3 kinds of linear functions (that i can think of idk): constant (which is just a straight line going through the y-axis), linear (just a line that usually has two points; think slanted line), and absolute (which looks like a v). i TRIED to use a lot of lines in this design but tbh it didnt turn out like i wanted 2. quadratic - this ones pretty cool i like the colorss quadratic functions are nonlinear (which jus means its not a straight line) functions with the highest power being 2. the shape it makes on a graph is called a parabola. the standard equation for quadratics is ax^2 + bx + c. i really like quadratics but theyre pretty hard to understand. anyways i tried incorporating the parabola shape in this design, and i think it looks pretty nice. kinda reminds me of sylveon lol 3. exponential - fihs blublbuvlbubl exponential functions are nonlinear functions that have x as the exponent instead of an actual number. the equation for these is ab^x. exponential functions can either grow or decay depending on the b variable; if the b is less than one, it decays; if the b is greater than one, it grows. i dont know why i made this design fish-themed but it looks cool so im not complaining. tried making it a living dead kinda thing because yknow. growth and decay. i love this design a lot art and designs by me music is by kawai sprite
